Looks great, congratulations on a successful flip.  Always a bit nerve wracking when they come over center.    By the speed of your progress you should be ready this summer!   Will you complete the project up there, or finish paint/body then bring it home for assembly?

Plan is to Finnish all structural and gel up north then bring home.
Lot of work to do on the top side. Stress cracks.
Hope to have it finished by the meet maybe earlier.

Back support made it come down to the floor and all the way up into the upper corner hope to eliminate the cracking in the corners. Going to add blocking inside the gunnel and attach to the back brace.

Great idea Jeff.  I considered doing something similar but have not done so yet for two reasons.  My first thought was the cracking appears on Timi's that have proven to have rotten stringers, at least I've not heard of cracks reappearing after complete restorations.  Maybe there are, just haven't heard about them.   The second reason is foam and engine access, something I'll decide once I see the engine in place.   OK, maybe a third reason is that the rear seat design I'm contemplating will tie this corner off better and forward, allowing a center seat section to pull out or tip up for access to front of engine, fuel filter, belts, etc.    I also noticed the side to side transom and lack of stacked blocks for engine mounts, are you planning a mounting hoop as well?   Overall you are making great progress, that price you made must have taken some time to fit as well as you did.  Love the craftmenship.

Gunnels full of spider cracks. Layered up very thin. Used router to remove all gel coat and spider cracks.
Then put five layers of CSM. Now sanding.

Getting closer!   That's a lot of work to get it to that point, can't wait to see it in person.   I assume it comes home after gel?
