1979 Glastron V162 Futura Windshield

Hi,

I need help. 

The hinge on the section of the windshield that folds back is broken (the windshield is in good shape otherwise) on our 1979 Glastron V162 Futura.  I purchased a 'piano hinge' through Amazon as a replacement but it is metal and I will need to drill into the aluminum to secure the hinge. I would prefer to replace the hinge with an original hinge which is plastic, but locating one on line was a challenge.  I should note that while I wish to be historically accurate, I am cost conscious and would hope to be sensible about the cost based on the overall condition of the boat which is good, but not perfect.

Any suggestions?

Do a Google search for "Golf cart window hinge"
There are many company's that make and sell it, Size would be 2 inch or 50mm.
