Thought you all would like these, so here they are. The duct tape on water hose is to prevent vibration from wearing a hole right there.

I like it! Looks a lot like my 71 V175 from the front. Are you missing the front hatch cover too?
So whats the story on this? Have you had it long or did you just get it?

Got it about a month ago. Yes it is missing the hatch cover and the center window glass and hinge is bad. I have the frame stored in the garage untill I can replace the glass, hinge and fabricate a hatch cover from glass mat.

I think Hyperacme (greg) knows where you can get a replacement hinge. It's that plastic style hinge correct?

Chris (Glastron_GT160) or somebody over on CGOA found some of the plastic hinge a few months ago, but you had to buy a 100' roll!  (I still need some too.)  If we got enough people who needed the hinge, we could get a roll and split it up maybe???  I considered using stainless steel piano hinge to replace it, but during summer months it's sure handy to have the windshield door OUT!

UPDATE - Found the old post on CGOA:

Its available, but many places I have found it sells it in HUGE rolls. $285/100ft

Find 50 friends with the same issue and you're all set :P

Its white, but shown in black.

You might try contacting these folks as well. They'll need to know the width, thickness, and length you need. "Northeast Hinge Distributors, Inc."

Search for "continuous hinge"

Good Luck.

Mine has 2 individual hinges. Maybe not original? I dont care for plastic hinges in anything, in general. At least not the kind that the plastic is doing the "hingeing" I may be replacing mine with something I know is stainless. I am not sure about what I have on there. Low priority right now.

Maybe I'll fix my hatch with fiberglass as well, at least as a temporary fix.

BTW
You've got a pretty nice, serious trailer under that baby too.

Sorry, been gone camping for a while. The hinge is the plastic type, but decided to leave the window out. Love the tandem trailer. The trailer is original to the boat.

Wish it did. The axles are set up for electric brakes, but there are none on it.
