Title: Found a Picture
Post by: OleRed on August 09, 2010, 11:10:06 AM
I run across this pic of my GT-160, kinda what it's suposed to look like if I ever get back to work on it.  I had a 235hp Johnson I was gonna put on it, the transom is certainly " Bullet Proof " with 5 layers of Kevlar and grafted into the hull.  I wanted a two seater, so I just thought I would build one,  and Yes,  I caught a Lot of flack for cutting up a GT-160

I like the way you think! A 235 on a 160 Whoo hoo! That think would go air born. No wonder you want passengers in the front!

Is a 160 bow really THAT long or did you graft some extra length in there? Looks really long in that pic!

Actually,  I cut the whole center section of the bow out and moved it back about 2ft, I'll glass in the front when I get back to work on it, I got an offer on the 235hp that I couldn't refuse,  if and when I get this baby finished it will have a bit smaller motor on it, a V-6 Mecc possibaly
