i needed to adjust the rigging, it was pretty sloppy which brought on some serious chine walk . Gil
I just got done taking the helm apart and pulling the Ride Guide rack apart to see if I could do anything about all the "slop" in the steering on the Starflite.  The nut on the end of the cable inside the rack had about 3/4" play in it!  I tightened up the nut, put a jam nut on to prevent backing off, and now have very little play before the motor moves.  I also re-greased everything inside, put it all back together.  I can't wait for spring to try it out.....oh yeah, winter hasn't even started officially yet.  Now I AM depressed.   :(  LOL
