There's a CVZ in Peoria, IL for $350. There are several parts that others could use on their CVX's that I wouldn't need, the ladder for instance, power steering, engine bay louvers, engine cover?, etc. I would mainly want the outdrive and the CVZ specific parts, 1 windshield looks good, grab handles, gas tank!, etc.
Hull is in better shape finish-wise than mine was...anyone interested in the boat as a whole? Otherwise, I wondered if we couldn't pick this up as a donor?
I'm waiting to hear back on whether or not the rest of the ladder is there...
It's just a thought!

In case I didn't make it clear, I'd get the boat, do the tear down, and get the parts to the right people...

I'm negotiation with my manager, she has a no Brown boat rule that needs to be addressed

The good news is that its Metalflake Copper!
-
I'd be all over the engine cover if it had a Stringer drive. Already got an extra MerCruiser hood.
-
I got Manager approval, e-mail has been sent

Awesome Brian! I told him that I was passing the CL ad on to you...so hope it all works out! It looks to be in better shape than mine was, and at 1/2 the price.
Good luck!

Honestly...it looks like the original upholstery is still there? Probably in tough shape, but enough to pull patterns?

Awesome Brian!
I am sure you will have that thing ready for the water by April!

Dang, now I am going to have to start hunting for that cvx18 or 20 that I have been wanting.

I didn't think you wanted a CVZ...thought it was always a CVX...

Joe, I do have one running boat, I am just replacing the floor and the flotation foam, and doing an engine upgrade.
I know excuses, excuses.

Not mine...believe it or not, my co-pilot buddy, did that on Iowa Speedway in his 2003 Honda Odyssey. Driving home from MI, he pulled in to look at the track, found an open gate and gave her hell.
