I found an upholsterer less then a mile from me who does nice, reasonable work. I removed the damaged rear seat back out of my 67 bayflite about 2 years ago. I cut a new piece of wood and bought some foam but had a hard time getting the old original vinyl wrapped nicely. Decided to have it professionally done. Also brought Mark some carpet scraps from the new carpet I installed in the 71 Crestflite as it was fraying when I cut it. Had him cut it using the originals as templates. Had some of the edge finished on that as well. 40.00 bucks! I will be going back there for other interior work. Not real handy for many of you but it may be worth the drive.

I have used Vince at United Textiles in Oakdale twice and am pleased with his work and reasonable prices. Vince cut the carpet and sewed the seam on the flooring of the Glastron V-153 back in about 2010.

This spring Vince repaired the boat cover to the CVX16, restitching the seams of the yellow vinyl backing under the windshield area, but then went on to restitch all the seams across the boat and making a patch for a small hole in the canvas. For this work he charged a very reasonable price. He does solid, quality work and has time to explain it all to you.

Vince does upholstery for boats also.

From Tonka Jim ...

I had it made.
I called around 5 canvas fabricators around the Twin Cities for a 10' X 8' cockpit cover.
Everyone quoted me $1,000.00 to $1,100.00.
Permatop, in Mound, MN (Lake Minnetonka) quoted me $650.00. They got the job.
