Anyone going to Lake Minnetonka for this event on Friday or Saturday.
I will be bringing a 1941 Larson and maybe a Glastron if they will let me. I have a call in to the club running the show.

The boat show is Saturday from 10-4. Friday evening is the pre show cruise on the Minnehaha and dinner at the Bayview event center. I did get an email last weekend that dock space and dinner/cruise reservations were full. Pre 1975 fiberglass boats are defined as "Classic" and welcomed to participate.

Mine's a 1976 ... So I can't go ...

Gregg,
Classes and Catagories are only for judging purposes. The ACBS chapters decide whether to have their shows be ACBS judged events, or not. The Minnetonka Rendezvous is not a ACBS judged show, although the catagories remain the same. The BSLOL chapter has included fiberglass boats at least as far back as the 1985 Rendezvous when a Glastron Saberflite was at the show.

I'll be there, breakfast next door at Bayside around 9:30 / 10:00.
Jerry, are you bringing the Scimitar on Saturday?

Im not sure what I'm bringing yet. I wanted to take a friends 1941 Larson he's trying to sell. If I get time I'd take the Corinthian or a GT-160, Something i want to sell. Where you going to launch?

I'll be launching at Maxwell Bay ramp around 8:30 / 9:00.
If it's full, then North Arm ramp is 1/4 mile farther.

I would like to go but my oldest has a soccer game at 1:00 PM. Maybe I'll run over in the boat if I don't get home too late and the wife doesn't have other plans for us. Gonna be another hot one tomorrow.
Jim I got room at my house if the landings are full.

Anyone can go, the year of the boat is only important if your going to show it in the event. A bunch of us met for breakfast last year, then had Tonka Jim give us a boat tour of the lake and where he learned to swim. We took our boats all over the lake with no fear of getting lost. (Jim knows the lake very well).

Dang. Which I would have known sooner. It was fun last time I went. Maybe a fall run around the lake when the colors start to change Jim?
Should put my outboard back on but I wanted to do some glass work on the inside of the transom first.

OK guys ... Where's the pictures ?
You went to a boat show and didn't take any pictures ?

Jerry & Dane took all the pictures, I'm hoping they will post.
