Title: TI REGULATIONS & EQUIPMENT
Post by: Tonka Jim on August 15, 2016, 10:10:43 PM
I'm posting this info for a few of our new participants.
Some of MN & WI watercraft laws are different but these rules should work for either side

You are required to have the following;
Current watercraft license, Coast Guard approved personal flotation device of the correct size for all passengers,
A throwable device, Proper navigation lights, Coast Guard approved fire extinguisher, & A horn or whistle.

Other recommended equipment;
Anchor & line, Flashlight, Paddle or oar, & First aid kit.

If you don't have what you need, let us know because someone could bring extra!

Isn't that the same reason that motorcyclists never smile while riding?  Thanks for the post Jim.
