I recently purchased a 1987 glastron Z-17. It's my first boat. The boat has been sitting for about 4-5 years with no cover on it so I am in the process of removing everything and starting over with new stringers. I have found good information so far about the boat but cannot find specifics about this boat. I have a Hull # but cannot find anything with that number. Trying to find out more about this boat and learn a lot along the way. Thanks Sean

Do you mean x-17. I found a brochure pic and information on the classic Glastron forum.

I am not to sure what it really is but looks like the picture you put up. It has Z-17 on the side but you can definitely tell that is has been messed with before.

According to the interweb, there was a Z -17 model, and a X-17. I didn't dig into it too far but here is a pic from the sales brochure. My best guess was the X models were I/O and the Z's were outboards.

It Does have an outboard 120 Johnson 2 stoke on it. So it looks like it is probably a Z model. The SN is CN007127A787 I will add some pictures of the boat hopefully later today. Thanks for the help so far guys.
