Title: Glastron Sign
Post by: catchnedge on December 29, 2017, 04:54:28 PM
Hello all my Glastron friends! Merry Christmas and hope you have a safe and fun New Years weekend.

Thought you might like to see this.  My son gave me this Glastron sign for Christmas. :)   Last month he and his wife, with Sandy and I, were traveling to Big Bend National Park in west Texas for a long weekend to do some hiking. Just west of Del Rio, I saw this sign on the side of the road up on a pole by a run down old place. I made a comment about it to him, that we should stop by on the way home and inquire about it.  Ran out of time.  Little did I know he went back out there, struck a deal with the owner, and had to remove a big cactus to even get his truck under it to remove it from the pole. :)  Pretty cool!

At some point it was painted over, but the paint seems to flake off fairly easy. It's in pretty decent shape otherwise, all the pieces are there. I look forward to see what I can do with it this spring.

Awesome!

Hang them and illuminate them.  A very cool man cave or garage piece.
