So at some point over the weekend the 23 started taking on a lot of water. I guess a 38" crack will do that.
I guess it isn't good for a year or two............ Just curious, is the crack directly below the entrance to the cuddy? Seems like that area is a flex stress area on the 23's. That's unfortunate it happened just after purchase. Could it have happened on the trailer?

I would say no to it happening on the trailer. According to Shawn's pictures of his rebuild there is not a stringer in the cuddy area over that strake. There will be when I rebuild it.
