Title: Sawyer Park
Post by: Jason on October 19, 2018, 10:31:45 PM
Thought this picture was kind of funny. Was at Sawyer Park boat launch this summer. Sawyer thought it was cool. Emmett not so much.

Extra credit points to anyone who knows where this is.

Google reported the same in Brunswick ME, but WI seemed more plausible.  I had to Google it, figured that was cheating.  I've heard about some great places in the lakes, but my Carlson's are a bit to low slung for big water.  Love the pictures and stories though.

We love Door County, WI. Spend at least a long weekend or more a year in Sister Bay.
Fresh Great Lakes salmon and cherry pie is the best.
Towed the SSV one year but wasn't enough boat for the big water.

Yes. Sturgeon Bay.

We were there camping without a boat. I’d love to take one of ours out there on a calm day though.

I thought that you were joking since there is a large plaque on the sign in the photo that says "Funded by the City of Sturgeon Bay"

Hey, no one reads the fine print! Good catch. I didn't notice that.
