I hope he paid more then that but you never know. Its one think to get a great deal like that and keep it, but to flip it...not so good. Heck maybe he planned on keeping it and things changed. Who knows.

Yes I did see the engine. No dirt or grease on it at all. Upholstery looks fine too. Corvette engine? I dont know.

I had a 1988 350Mag .
I think ... It had a higher rise manafold, cam, remote oil filter, other minor things.
It was 270 HP just 10 HP up from the 260 hp.
Pushed a heavy 20 foot cuddy to 55+ mph ... no gps back in them days.
GREAT motor !

Gregg I'll bet you didn't pull that bad boy with the Escape! Can you believe I had to disconnect the trailer from my truck yesterday and move by hand to get out of my parking spot at Windmill. That thing doesn't have a wheel on the tongue jack so it was no fun in the hot sun.  I'll know better when I park next time.

Makes this boat being advertised over on the CGOA site for $6500 seem like a heck of a deal. When your talking about a 23 year old boat not much, if any, difference between a boat with 70 hours and one with 191.

my dad has a 1987 cv-23 in almost new condition for sale, 191 hours since new never been left out side in the rain. he is in a wheel chair and can no longer get in the boat so he wants to sell it i have lots of pictures i can send if any body is interested in it .. its a sweet ride and when you see it you wont beleave how nice it is, its never been painted and it shines like a new penny. $6500 will bring it home but hes very firm on that price it still has a new boat smell...

Ross I keep it on the trailer at the marina. Everything they had available for the season as far as wet slips was either too small or way too big. Maybe next year.
