Missed Church but spent a day close to heaven !
« on: September 26, 2010, 07:39:31 PM »
Thanks to the people who showed up at Mtka.this afternoon,my wife and I had a pleasent afternoon following Jim and His young bride Kelly on a guided tour of the massive lake. However Brian and Jeff turned out to be kinda like bullys with there high powered boats and seemed to get pleasure out of humiliating me in my under powered GT 150, Well be prepared you two cause in the future, I'm bringing a prop with all the blades (I broke 1/2 off at the landing),my fault ! and I will have my trim working, plus, instead of the old ford truck points ,I will get some genuine marine ones along with a set of spark plugs (my plugs are 8 years old), hows that for excuses ?Thanks again hope I'm in town for the River run and yes I hope to bring a couple of kids along..

I completely agree with instep...even my CV23 was no match for their constant, heartless bullying. Brian knows my boat suffers from chronic fuel starvation issues, and I wasn't aware that Jeff put in a hotter cam and vortech heads on his 350. Those guys are total jerks  ;D

Seriously though, it was a beautiful day, we had a cool mix of boats and great company. As always, it was good to see you guys...
