I've taken a few days off,  the Fox has worked her last night job, she has Re-Tired from one of her jobs, and we just layed around and watched movies this week-end, and she's making me a Do-List ? !

I'm sending the package to Art today,  I'm sendind him a the hinge set for the "T" Tops that he is going to try and get reproduced for the Scimitars, and a few or our calanders, pic's ,  etc.  I talked to him the other day and asked if it was alright to pass on his email .. his wife's actually, and he said it was OK to do that ... so Here ya go. Send him a note, pic of your boats, he Love's it .. Please incourage him to attend the show up there next August,  I think it would be a Great Thing for him to do that. Art is 80 years of age, kinda slowing down, but I think we could lift up a LifeTime of achievements for this guy to attend that show,  even just for a One Day deal .. I'm willing to contribute.  I don't think Art has a Clue of the following he has with these boats ... Go Figure !

I can relate to the too little money. I'd like the ex's pay check, just not the ex.
I am looking for side work of the handyman kind if anyone needs help. I am running out of options. maybe I'll post something in the classifieds. I'd sell my body to science if it were worth anything.  Argh!

Didn?t you mention in the past that you had talk to him or were trying to get him as a guest speaker?
Sounds like a humble man that does not know of the following the MN club has.  But this little clubs summer event is fast becoming a national show.
?His wife is computer literate but he is not?.
Send the man the DVD?s, a club shirt, hat, and coffee mug. 
It would be an honor to have him as a speaker.  Imagine if this man does not know of the respect we all have for his life?s work and the contributions he made to boating.

Very true, think about the time and passion that each of us put into returning these to their original glory. And by original glory, I mean... his design! Also the fact that some members dedicate so much time to the events, and others come from all over to share it together... It would be a shame if he were unaware.

I think Red sent him DVD's of movies & pictures from Red Wing and he knows about us and hopes to come next year.

I got a personal letter from him the other day!  I was quite excited!  He talked about not being able to travel right now, but he was very kind and asked that we keep in touch with him.

I have high hopes for him coming next year!
