Anyone up there been by Red Wing lately?  I hear that Island Campground is underwater.

ya .. saw that already.  Was wondering how hight that actually is.  I heard a rumor that the water was well up into the office area .. like window hight.  Hope that is not true.

It hasn't been up to window height since back in the 90's.  It's pretty unlikely that it would be up there.  In fact, the posting from the campground says that there are still a few seasonal campers left on the island.

I think that it crested around 17.5ft with the "action stage" being at 14' and the major flood stage being at 18'.

My numbers might be off.

That is good to hear.  I have really gotten to love that spot.  I would hate to see it torn up by a bad flood or anything else.  Looking forward to MANY returns.
