The picture is evidence of the good will and friendships grown within the Glastron community. Doug, you seem to be the most host - Brian, Jim, and Terry. No Corvette this year?

Sadly not David, if memory serves me correctly the Currans were piloting a Kia sedan. Well it was new ... Seems like everybody's pullin way back on the throttle these days. So to speak ...

Yup Dave. Terry & Nancy are good people. Hey how can you go wrong hangin out with fellow Glastron owners?

Looking forward to seeing Jim & Kelly in a couple weeks.

Take care

Doug is a wonderful and gracious host to say the least.  We've enjoyed our time with Doug every year and always plan to make time to stop in and see him and go to dinner.  We/I passed on a boat ride with Doug this year as we were really strapped for time.  We took a passenger? boat ride, about 2 hrs. each way, from Punta Gorda to the gulf coast on Saturday, borrowed a friends dad's '99 Camaro drop top for a quick ride before dinner.  Did I mention it only has 1875 miles logged on the odometer?  Sunday we rented a 17.5 ft Cobia? center console with a 90 hp o/b Suzuki and took it up the Peace River for lunch.  Saw several 'gators on the way!   Other than the shallow water, it was a nice trip.

As for the 'vette.  Totally out of the question this year.  I was hoping for a Hertz Shelby Mustang, but, I didn't see any at the Ft. Myers airport. My wife wouldn't even reserve a car at Hertz in fear of me, that's right, me, up-grading to the 'vette !!  lol  BTW Doug, this years ZHZ's are drop tops.
