Were the 4 that walked away ALL of the passengers?
Good job by the pilot. Talk about needing a change of underwear!  I imagine they were scooped up by some boaters?

Yes there were 4 persons on board. Only injury was the pilot evidently fracturing his arm. No need for boaters to the rescue Ross. He landed that baby in shallow water about 50' from shore & the wind & waves pushed em right in. Rumor has it the ditching could've been even smoother but at the last second he had to pull up to clear some surfers. Still a heck of a job.

Fyi the last notable emergency/crash landing here was onto the roof of our now defunct Kmart. Pilot was coming in for a landing when his motor puked. He somehow set that bird down on the roof & came to a stop by plowing into the backside of the sign on the front of the building. Messed up his plane, and reportedly his knees purty good, but lived to tell the tale.
