Ha!!!  ok Jim...  sounds like now is as good a time as any!

Lisa and I have been chosen by a birth mother to be the parents of her baby!!!  We are very excited!  It looks like we will have a baby home with us sometime in the next 7-10 weeks.

We are happy to talk about more of the details in a one on one basis, but we would like to thank all of you for your love, prayer, and support.  We are very blessed!

(Anyone know a good venue to host a spaghetti feed fundraiser???)  :)

Congratutions Brian and Lisa. Raising a family is the highest calling. Just know you two will do a great job at parenting. Bet the grandparents are excited too. We brought our little Philip with us on the Mississippi River outings when he was just a little tyke.

Congrats! Finally, you have that waiting period behind you. Now do you have a spot on the boat for a diaper pail?  :-/
If you go with the cloth ones, you can just dip'em in the river at about 50 mph! :o
Fine parental units you will be.

Congratulations Brian and Lisa, I know you must be ecstatic!  Raising children is a lot like restoring a classic: a lot of work in the beginning, but well worth the effort in the long run.   ;)  Best wishes.
