Bathroom build out
« on: January 26, 2011, 06:43:02 PM »
Well the cave saga continues.  We put a septic in and now on to interior construction. First phase is the bathroom and laundry room.

Oh my, thats gonna eat into Glastron room. Well its always good to have a pot!
Laundry? I guess I dont know....maybe I missed it. Is this a ways from you house so you'll be using it like a cabin....place to escape? I thought it was just for storage but this will make it much more useable.
Looks like you've broken in the "throne"  ;D

Once you get started its hard to stop. What started out to be a bathroom and laundry room has turned into a two story apartment. It will take up half of one 25 by 50 bay. Will be measure 25 by 25.  Three bedrooms, two bathrooms.  If I by another Glastron my wife is sure to throw me out. I'm gonna need a place to lay my head while going through divorce proceedings ???  Chris:  your gonna need to pick out your room.  I will leave the light on. Now you have a place to stay at the river and keep one of your boats!
Can't wait til summer!

I had though of coaching you through a mezzanine project on that.  I am sure the steel frames would easily support the load. You could hang a "room for let" sign out side to and collect added gas money!

I appreciate the invite to use a room let alone a place to keep a boat.  I'd be ashamed of parking my rust bucket trailers and dirty boats next to your collection!  But .. I'll suck it up!  ;D I have wanted to play on the river for some time.  One of these days!

Funny Chris I was thinkin the same thing. Ah well that can be added later.

Congrats Andy! Sounds like it's gonna be a purty cool 'crib'. Reminds me of Dirk Pitt's apartment in his hangar from the Clive Cussler novels.

Carry on.

If you had to lay your head there, at least you'll be in good company!
Sweet!
My caves bathroom consists of some PVC fittings I kludged together and ran through the wall. Used only for #1 of course. :P
