I do have an extra set if the waiting list is a long time yet Shrom...

Thanks, I'll let you offer up that set if you would like. As of this point there really isn't much of a list. Doesn't seem to be much more interest. So I will wait a while yet see if more ppl contact me. Otherwize I can run a couple sets in the ProtoTRAK Lathe myself. If its only one or two ppl that would want a set. I would have to figure out a price for that though.

Hold off on making me a set. I'm thinking I might use a didn't latching mechanism similar to my 18. Thanks though.

Alright sounds good. I must say I have a CVX-18 myself. and even though I make these hatch screws, mine own Carlson doesn't even sport my product.

Looks like I'll just back away slowly on this one. I wasn't trying to undercut you, I know you're not making anything on these. I was just going to donate my time to program and set-up the machine to keep the cost down. I didn't mean to step on any toes, just trying to save some fellow boaters some gas cash!

OK guys, I have had a few interests in more hatch screws to be made. I am going to have my boss re quote me on the price sense we already have the programing done. So Should be cheaper, but unsure of how much.

I have had a few ppl say that their boat no longer has the original receivers on their boat. So I am thinking of possibly coming up with design for new receivers also. To sell if needed.

I will keep you updated.

Feel free to PM or with any interest in the screws.

Guys, I have been back in forth whether or not to make more hatch screws. Mainly because of the cost I would have to put into these upfront of my own money, Not knowing when or whether they will sell. I would like to see more interest posted. I have had a few ppl contact me which helps, but my fiance and I decided to  go ahead and put in a order for another batch and see how it goes.  We love these style boats and want to help out others that have the same love.

Anyone have the receivers that these screw into?  I would kind of like to put some on my CV-16 but have nothing to thread them into.

I am finding a few ppl that has the same problem as you. So I'm trying to come up with a receiver for these screws that will work. That way I can sell them as needed.  They will not be like the originals though. :-/ But would work just as well.

I can't decide if I wont to try and make them out of spring steal like the originals our just make the stainless or Alum...Stainless or Alum would be easier for me. do not have a way to bend or cut the hole out of spring steal as the originals are made.

I see on FaceBook that these are not going to be made after this batch is gone. My offer still stands. All I need is a sample part and I can make them. I'll even put the slot in like the originals! PM me if needed. I may not check the site every day, but I do often enough.

its all you from here on out. I can not afford to put upfront the cash to have them made anymore. I have had to may ppl email me saying they want a set and not commit to purchasing after I have them made. So now I am sitting on these screw, and out the cash that should be going into my boat.

I'll wait til you sell out. I can make them as needed. I do the programming, setting up and also run them. I can do it on my own time and just get charged for the material. That'll help keep the price down.

Thanks Guys, I enjoyed having these made for you guys. Sorry That I have not been active on this forum or any forum lately, Life got busy and just not enough time in the day it seems, plus extra cash to be playing with my toys (Boat/jeep) There is a guy on facebook saying he can making them cheaper. So I'm leaving it up to him to try and produce these at a cheaper price and help more Carlson owners out.

If there is interest I'm thinking of running another batch of hatch screws. I am unaware the other guy taking over on making these, like I had said. Please post on here and share the word, so that I can possibly make this happen to help out those who are in need of hatch screws.
