Saw these online. Looks interesting - I like that the rope can swivel from right to left on the outside of the outboard.
On my old SSV, I had a "Y" rope that connected to the pull rings on either side of the outboard with a float where the "Y" came together to keep the rope from sinking down towards the prop.
They're a little pricey for me now, but depending on how the kids grow into being dragged behind the boat, it might be worth it.
