Should I Knock on the door....

I have always thought before my days are gone I would like to own a Scimitar, however I have not wanted to drive half way around the word for a project or spend an arm and leg.  To my surprise, I was in Eastern Nebraska, yes Nebraska and I spotted one behind a house along the highway.  It was covered and looked like it was being regularly used on the river.  I stopped but was not able to get too close before the neighbors got concerned about me snooping.  I think I'm going to make a run up the road this weekend and just make contact... 

Any thoughts, am I crazy!!!

The bad thing is to really enjoy it you would either have to drive 6hrs west to Big Mac, or just run it on the Missouri.

Nope, this one came to me by phone, it had not been advertized.  The owner contacted me about doing some work on the motor, and maybe a floor, but after he saw the re-construction page of Red's Gold he was ready to sell, this one is a total project.

I'll start a new thread for it today sometime, it's going on the market as it is, I think, I'll decide today.
