new here but not new to the classic Glastron world!
« on: November 22, 2014, 02:58:49 PM »
Hi, Scott from you guessed it - New Hampshire here.

I have had my GT-160 since 1990 and put together a meeting on Lake Winnepesaukee in 2001.
I dropped out of site for awhile but have kept the old girl going on the Great Bay and it's tidal rivers.

Now my girlfriend and I have bought a nice, small place on a small lake in Maine and I'm back into the boating just like that!

She didn't like the smoke and finicky nature of the old tower of power so after choking on the price of used 4-strokes I've bought another boat  CVZ-18!
It has the room and power we need, but needs the typical transom, stringers, floors and interior!

So I'm here picking up resto tips and hope to get her wet by June or July.
I'm not selling the GT so we still have a boat to use in the meantime :)

Scott

Thanks,
seems everyone knew about the CVZ in Massachusetts!
The PO is a nice guy, but the flooring and stringer work he did wouldn't even make a good pallet - lol!
