I have so far at least. Probably going to finish it by hand also. I didn't want to use a rotary sander with all the contours on Phoenix. When I get to the hull work on the CVZ a rotary sander is going to be a must. I am NOT hand sanding that hull not with the amount of work is needs!

Interesting. And it is the same as Phoenix. A 1974 build but labeled as a 1975 model. And the same orange.

Gregg, keep an eye out for more of that hin variation. I wish we could find someone that would know why they did that.

If I had the room, that would be a cool boat to own.

No CL ad's have serial number picture ...
HECK ... Most people don't even take the cover off !

That's what's so weird / interesting about that ad ...
Wish we knew the number / letter that designated month built ?

Early build models for brochure photo shoots ?
Models built in 1974 but sold as a 1975 model ?

One more of the many G/C questions we may never get an answer to ...

OK, the polishing of the hull is complete, except for the gel of the interior, that will wait till after rathbun.

Tomorrow's project is to clean the seats and vacuum. Then repack wheel bearings and install speedy sleeves on the spindles. And if there is still time in the day left install the new stereo head unit and two additional speakers.

Looking great Brandon!!

I am way behind on boating this year, hope to get it washed and grease the bearings tomorrow.  Had it out last night still runs pretty good.

We will be getting in Thursday Night, probable leaving Saturday night, Matt is excited and has his fishing pole ready to go.  Do you know if we need a park permit and is there a store near by.

Weather looks to be good hopefully some good boating days.

Nope no permit needed Joe. Nearest store is about 30 miles in centerville. Nearest convince store is around 15 miles.

Looking forward to seeing you and Matt again. Rathbun will be Phoenix's first time on the water this year. I hope it is a good result. Should be.
