Any one looking for motor / drive / trim parts let him know.

Given all the engine troubles I've had it would be nice to have a backup engine.  If this engine is in good working order I'd be willing to pay for it.

I brought mine to a transfer station in Roberts WI. I think it was about $100 per ton. Not sure if they are still operating that one anymore though.

You could also try these places:

Just call around to different transfer stations.

I've connected with Ben and am planning on driving to Rochester to get the boat late Friday afternoon.

On boat disposal, Dan Luke of DL Marine (952-474-7352) told me that he drives scrapped out boats to a place in Hutchinson.
I think he said he pays $40, dumps the boat off, and leaves.

What was wrong with the boat?
Ben told me:
1. there is a water leak - boat starts filling with water when you put in a body of water (even with plug in  ;) )
2. trim/lift pump isn't working well (oil leak, maybe gaskets?)
3. floor is getting rotten/soft

It was in pretty rough shape.
It was his family's boat, but just needed to much work ...

He wants a "Fish & Ski" style boat ... SO ...
Were going to start cutting up my CV, and turn it into a bass boat this spring.

is the trailer roller or bunk? I would be interested in it hull and trailer once you pull the engine.

Not sure if roller or bunk ... Think roller.
Pretty heavy duty.
Best picture I have of it.

Picture (seat / dash) is of the day he picked it up, and has been cleaned up a bit.

Oh the CVZ will be around, I plan on finishing the bulk heads and floor this spring. But I might get to it if the weather stays this nice.

Ben's old 179 I plan on stripping it of all the parts down to bare hull then to the scrap yard it will go. The trailer will be Phoenix's new ride after new lights and paint job and adding brakes.

I would like to keep the hull and do a v8 tri-hull, but Amber says not enough room to store it.
