Some GT150 measurements
« on: May 25, 2017, 07:19:11 AM »
Alright folks, I am in need of some measurements related to the ski locker on a GT150. The first measurement I need is the height of the side boards that support the cap. Then I need a measurement from the transom to the front of the locker. The transom is the only fixed point I could think to use. I made marks on the hull for the foot panels just not for the ski locker itself. Those pieces are long gone and I am building from scratch. I would like to complete the initial build of the ski locker before fitting the cap back on and then just make adjustments as needed.  Thank you for any help.

I have the original pieces I cut out and used for templates.  Where are you located?  You're probably nowhere near Omaha, NE but I can take measurements and pictures tonight.

Unfortunately, I am nowhere near Omaha. I was able to mostly reproduce my pieces, I just need to know how far into the cockpit they extend.  I don't have any reference marks to go on.  So a measurement from the face of the transom along the floor would be helpful.

I can't get that measurement at the moment.  There is some give there depending on if you want to add a door or something.  You may need a couple of notches to clear your deck.  Here's the original piece with dimensions and what I did to mine.

It is interesting the variability in some of these parts.  I copied my original ski locker parts for mine, leaving the top high so that I could trim it down to fit. However, I couldn't decide on its position front to back.
