We lost power for 9 days due to a thundersnow back in October 97, got a son out of the deal.  Seemed terrible at the time, but now just kinda funny.  They had crews from all over helping, old neighborhoods with overhead lines suffered the worst.  Our line was broke in at least 20 places from the substation.
