Hyperacme:
Mid to late 60's boats had blue tag back by transom.
Latter 60's early 70's had it behind dash.
Most 60's thru 70's had glassed in tag under splash well or rear deck on I/O's.
Should be model number on blue tag, followed by a letter for color.

Yep ... near imposable to get a good camera shot of it ...
Tag off 1972 V-156 / blue.
