Do you know what BOAT stands for?
« on: September 19, 2018, 05:12:57 PM »
Just before our trip the lower unit is garbage. But Boat Motor recycler will have done next week for tune of 1863. And some change. I guess bust out another thousand means  bring 2 with ya lol. Have a great weekend.

Yes I would agree. But then again if people do  routine Maintaince and not use if it doesn’t sound correct. Would save the next guy a headache. It is what it is at least I know that’s new lol

Whoa! Did you say $1863.00 for a lower unit?  I guess times have changed a bit.  If I had to stare that down, it would be going into winter storage.

They have already tore it down. The reverse gear because a 3 dog clutch  and the pin is 400.

There is nothing left most gears are chipped and some are just broken off. The rebuild is 1500 plus have the prop  redone and there is Uncle Sam cut.
