Windshield grommets
« on: January 22, 2019, 07:39:12 PM »
Hello,

Anyone knows where to source the plastic grommets that are used on the C-500 and I guess also the CVX-17?
I found the mould for the windshield and could not resist temptation of building me a new one. Which led to discovering that several of the grommets are kaputt...

I'd like to hear how you "found" a windsheild mold?   There are a lot of capable DIY'ers on this site that might be interested in making there own replacement windshields.  Of particular interest would be the CVX windshields.

The C-500 was copied in Chile many years ago. I found the son of the guy who did the windshields.... He kept the moulds and the oven. Now we are experimenting. I will send some pictures when I get home in a week.
