Some airports still want you to turn your computer on.  Slip on shoes is the best advice.  Don't lock a bag if you check anything, Doran's right - they'll pop it.  Also, I'm not sure the cargo holds in a plane are pressurized, I'd keep any liquids in a carryon - you don't want to show up, unzip, and then find out your shampoo got on half your stuff.  You'll have to buy your water/soda/beer after you get through security, they'll make you pour out anything that's in a bottle larger than 3 ounces.

Not bringing liquid so no problem there. Printed my boarding pass this AM so that's covered. Successfully test fired my alarm clock awhile ago, though doubt I'll sleep much tonight.

Gonna travel incognito to the airport: Hoping that way people don't stop'n ask me canvas questions ...  But seriously. I'm afeared the Ranger'll reach terminal velocity and self destruct on the interstate?

Update:  I gotta stop by Jerry's on the way to Red Wing. To discuss politics ...  So I'll be arriving at the meet a lil later'n originally anticipated.

See y'all tomorrow.

yes cargo bays are pressurized and temp controlled. Everything is the same as up stairs.  Just think when you send old fido for a ride on the air plane where do you think they put him?  I know for a fact it is not in the cockpit.

I've never taken a dog on a plane … although I might decide to pack my son in a suitcase and have him ride as "heavy baggage" now  ;)

Give Mark Smith a call, I'm sure he would love to hear from you. He's on the list. Whatever you do DON'T DRIVE ANYWHERE the roads in Atlanta are not safe to drive on. They're all crazy!

Yes they are!  Wish I'd have known you were coming thru town Doug, I'd have run up to the airport and had a cup of coffee with ya!
