« on: March 05, 2015, 08:02:07 PM »
So has the date of the Red Wing meet changed from thursday thru sunday to wednesday thru saturday? Thought it was 13 - 16th. Now I'm seeing 12 - 15th. Please advise.

I added an extra day,  just b/c I selfishly want another weekday on the water and figured I would throw it out that Wednesday arrivals are an option.   No real intent other than that I'll be there to check folks in if they wanted.   With the move to TI,  that's probably less of an option.

There's no such thing as ... Too much of a good thing !
On a weekday we could go up or down river with very little traffic, not counting barge traffic at locks...

Doug - Gregg had the dates wrong on the banner, I just fixed it.  Wed Evening - Sunday... (12th-16th).

When I came up a day early last year, I noticed how quiet the river was and made a mental note to add another weekday as Thursday on the river looked to be a great day to burn some gas with few other boats out...

I don't know how far it would be (and the MN River may be too shallow in Aug), but I would love to see the old Savage turning bridge that I used to go over as a kid again sometime.

(*Edit:  Nevermind, that's a long way from Red Wing...)

Still says Red Wing Campground.

This whole page can get smeared too: http://www.cgoamn.com/73.html

This page needs a new map: http://www.cgoamn.com/71.html

More minor updates here: http://www.cgoamn.com/75.html

If I had the power I'd be happy to update this page.

So,  nothing is wrong with the dates.   Got it.

I'm not changing anything on those pages until I see concrete,  committed numbers from TI later this month.

I don't want to have to recreate them if TI falls through after everything is put to paper.
