Shawn those are good ideas for the flyer, are you still planning on using your uncle's print shop?  Also do you still plan on taking your boat off the trailer?  The guy in charge of the setup emailed me and asked if anyone is taking their boat off the trailer.

BOAT MOVE IN DATES/TIME will be tuesday 17th and wednesday 18th 8a - 8p.  She said preferably wednesday because of where we're located...I plan on being there for some portion of wednesday.  Those of you bringing boats please let me know when you can bring your boat in and I will try to be there to help set up.

Not sure if I am going to take it off the trailer what do you think? I think if we have a few people we could. My trailer doesn't look the best so I would have to at least cover it up. Let me know your thoughts I was thinking I would build a couple stands for it. Is anyone else taking their boat off the trailer? How do we move the boats around inside because if we can't hook the trailer up to something might be a little more difficult.

I think we should just leave them on the trailers. Most people will be distracted by the metal flake anyway! My trailer is far from great. They Are old boats what do people expect. Unless we have a platform with wheels to roll it onto it will be real tuff. I plan to leave both wheels on and lay the toung of the trailer on the ground to get it a little lower. I might find some cheap black fabric to cover it all up.

Looks great shawn. 300 should be fine but the more the better. We can always hand them out at other events or pass-er-by-er's on the water. Thanks for putting this together. Pay a neighbor kid to fold them all!

Brochure looks good. A couple of points:

1. If you reference the Red Wing event by date, the brochures will be obsolete after that point. Maybe better to stay generic about it. That said, maybe 750/1000 brochures would be a better number. If we actively hand them out, it will be easy to go through that many. If we use them sparingly, or by request, then a few 100 would do.

2. History note. The GT-150 doing the 007 jump is a 1972 model, not 1973. The filming was done in October 1972 using 1972 boats but the film was released in 1973.

I was also just thinking, maybe to show the real size of the club a pictures such as one of these would be good on the cover.

I think keeping your boat on the trailer and covering the trailer up if you'd like would be the best option.  I also agree with Jason about putting the picture from 2010 (above) on the front.  300 should be a good number for fliers because if we actively hand them out I think a good number of them will end up on the floor or in the trash.  If we hand them out when people seem interested 50 thur, 50 fri, 100 sat, and 100 sun should work pretty well.

Go to Michael's the fabric is cheep, that will cover the boats up pretty well, might even be able to find glastron emblems on it for future use.

I changed the pic to the one posted. I am thinking that I will leave the Date on there unless we think it should be taken off. I have the original and my uncle is going to print them for me. If any one would like a copy, I made it in Microsoft Word so I can email it to anyone and they could print a few if they wanted to promote their event or chapter as well as change the date.

I picked up a 15 yards of black fleece from Hancock fabrics in woodbury. It was 70% off and will be till the 11th. $35 for it all. That should help pretty up my boat!
