Title: 2020 Minnesota Recreational Boating Survey
Post by: Hyperacme on December 22, 2020, 03:50:15 PM
Got this today ...

Help improve boating opportunities by competing a survey about your 2020 boating experience. This is your opportunity tell us about your boating activities, any issues encountered on the water, and share your opinion about the future of boating in Minnesota. We will use this research to make decisions about boating investments and policies.

Please take 10-15 minutes to complete the survey online. Or use an accessible survey that works better with screen readers. Consider this past boating season (2020) when answering the questions.

Nice survey effort, but honestly 2020 boating season was a bit off due to Covid.  Hopefully they take that into consideration when planning.

Good survey. A few of the questions related directly to 2020 vs other years so I think they are considering it.

Seemed like an emphasis on wake board boats, I'm guessing folks are taking issue with their wakes near their shores and docks?

+1 - I got one of these too.  I gave my feedback on the wakeboats but honestly, newer tri-toon pontoon boats with 300 hp engines throwing large wakes 30 feet from my dock was a bigger issue this past summer.  There were a number of questions about boater education and courtesy on the water as well.

I fear our hyper-regulation-oriented DNR is at it again.
