we are off to a strong start this year, have had the 16CSS out twice and this is the third outing with the BalHarbor, and camping !
last year our first outing here was in in the middle of july

Skeeters no, spotted cow yes!  Beautiful time of year it is.   Likely our first boat outing will be Rathbun, just too much else going on.

Took the CV-23 for a nice run today! Dropped in Hudson, WI and then went up the St. Croix until the "STOP no travel up stream from here" marker. Great day with the fam!

We should arrange a group run soon! Maybe Hudson,WI southbound or the MN River? 8)

Yes It works well!! Seems that it clicks a little though like it would be possible to extent higher! Kinof like the 80's cadillacs ;)

Whats the story on the CV23? Where did you find it? Looks to be in really nice shape.

I got mine working.... previous owner said he didn't know why it didn't work...... the wires were cut.

6/3/2020
Girls day out. Launched in Hastings. Went down and hung out at the cove. Then anchored north of Prescott bridge and hung out there for a while. Gorgeous day!

It was a great weekend to be out on the water, though we did get a little rain Saturday night and it was windy as heck yesterday

Took the 16css out last night. Launched at Lion’s Levee. Went all the way to Ford dam and back. First mile or two just about killed us.
