GT 150/160 windshield gasket
« on: May 10, 2020, 08:49:54 AM »
Hi Guys,
Has anyone ever found a source for the grey rubber window welting...or gasket that goes between the windshield and the frame?
I've tried a few glass shops in my area but nothing really close.  I tried some shower door suppliers with no luck either.
Is Taylor windshields still in business?

Thanks,
Jeff

Just a suggestion if you can't find the exact part would be to search around for base or U channel gasket.  I did a search and found a decent selection, but I don't know the dimensions of the channel or windshield to look it up.    Another suggestion might be to use windshield adhesive and put a nice rounded edge with a caulk type tool.

I haven't ordered that stuff before, but I found the rubber that covers the track where the screws are holding the windshield frame down. Which was hard to track down. I ended up finding the exact stuff at
Great Lakes Skipper, they might have what you need. https://www.greatlakesskipper.com/boat-parts/boat-molding/windshield-molding-and-seal
Or try Steele Rubber Marine https://marine.steelerubber.com/
