Steering Wheel Removal
« on: June 05, 2020, 11:25:20 AM »
I did a search here and could not find what I was looking for but may not have searched correctly. I want to remove the steering wheel from the boat so I can fully disassemble it. Problem is the center horn button doesn't seem to want to come off. Is there a secret to getting these off without destroying them?

Can you post a picture of your wheel?

Pretty sure the cap just pops off, with gentle prying.

If you have this steering wheel the cap just pulls off .
Don't turn it because it has 3 tabs on it and they will break off.
You may have to pry carefully on it like Gregg says.

I will do my best to try and pull it off again. I'll update on what happens.
