Are there 3D file for parts anywhere?
« on: March 18, 2022, 06:04:20 PM »
I saw a post on FB where a guy had an old GC 150 3D printed.
Made me think, are there any 3D files out there for:
  • Badges
    Bezels
    Vents
    Switches
    Screw covers
Does anyone know?

Let me tell you although 3D printing is advancing fast the quality compared to laser cut emblems for example are still far behind.
There is also someone selling CNC cut emblems but again, the quality of the cut is by far not as nice as the laser cut ones.

Someone on FB was producing the vents as well. But rechroming them is the main problem. Someone was making them from aluminum but the price was over the top.

Someone posted some where the vents on eBay and FB groups aren't very good.
He didn't say why ..
