Title: Workers Scramble to Store Boats Prior to the Arrival of Hurricane Michael
Post by: David CVX-16 on October 09, 2018, 08:48:03 PM
Workers scramble to store boats prior to the arrival of Hurricane Michael at Shields Marina on Oct. 9, in Saint Marks, Fla.

Hope the high winds do not blow the storage building over.

Probably not the one you mentioned. But it shows the true force of the storm.

One sees so many wrecked and flooded out vehicles and boats. If I lived in the path of a coming storm, I would transport my boat out of the path of the storm, even if it meant going 100's of miles, and would do the same for cars.

The picture above seems like it was of a multi-level boat storage facility, and undoubtedly, almost all of the boats are totaled.

Looks like Shields Marine at Saint Marks, Florida got some flood damage, but the storage building held up - looks to well constructed.
