Title: Even an old oak tree can’t kill a good work truck.
Post by: nes-cv23 on October 14, 2018, 10:53:27 AM
With all the storms we’ve had the last couple weeks, us here in Dundas have lost a lot of trees and one good work truck to a big oak tree.  But I just couldn’t bring myself to take it to a junk yard for only $100.. so a couple hydraulic jacks, a big hammer and some plexiglass, I think it will survive. Still looks good from one side  ;) and yes this is our first snowfall  >:(

Great job
Great job, that looks way better than some of the farm trucks we’ve had over the years

Way too nice for the bone yard. It lives on!

Nice! A convertible conversion would have been fun too!

Probably not worried if it takes a door ding in a parking lot either.  Gotta luv the work trucks.  Although, somewhere there is a Glastron that could use the engine.

That’s one of the reasons I couldn’t get rid of it. It’s a 93 with a good 350 in it with only 106k on it. Just getting broke in.  And with 2, 23’s I just might need it someday..

I have a Suburban version of that truck model.  Agree, they are just nice trucks.  I can't go to Home Depot without someone wanting to know if I would sell it.  FWIW, I bought Bilstein shocks for my Sub and it drives great, nice smooth ride.  Old truck doesn't need to drive like an old truck :-)
