so i got this X-19 conroy, project for next year.
needs interior, floor and a transom for sure, as well as a motor and outdrive.
i have a 302 out this old steury 518, it appears to be a 215E
so i need to figure what parts i need, is there any cross ref on line somewhere
or is there a guru who just knows what fits, or what i can make work
i checked boatinfo.com, and boatfix.com

Cool boat!  I don't think I've ever seen one of those in person.  Especially like the built in ice chest.

The mercruiser stuff is pretty interchangeable between models. I pulled the merc 140 out of my cvx16ss when I did my rebuild and put in basically the same drive you are using. Most of it will be as simple as unbolt from the donor boat and bolt into project boat. The only thing that will need some creativity is the front engine mounts. When you re do the floor in the Conroy make sure you copy the engine mount locations from your donor boat and it should work out ok. You will also want to get your hands on the Mercury engine alignment tool and a shop manual for Mercruiser would be a good investment too.

Yes, I am using the 888 out-drive that came with the v8. I'm pretty sure it is 1.5 to 1. You will probably want to start with a 17 or 19 pitch prop. Make sure you put a new water impeller in the lower unit also.
