Cool video   8)

Check for HIN on right side of stern, just under rub rail for year and month built.

Last four digits in number are ..
M= model year
XX = year built
X = Month built

More HIN info ..

After you find year you can get info and brochures here ...
https://www.glastron.com/us/catalogs-and-product-information

At the bottom of most pages on above link are " Product Information Guides " with more spec's and info.

There are also "Owners Manuals" here ... not a lot of info though ..

Looks like your new boat is a late 90's GS185 SF.
Trailer under your CV23 is a Glastron trailer ..

This info is awesome!   OK so the CV23 is an 88 and according to the carlson models PDF, it's actually a CVX-23,  and the GS is a 1997

I always thought it was a CV because of the text on the placard left of the steering wheel.

Could you post or PM me your HIN and original color off the CVX23, so I can add it to list ?

1988 was the only year for CVX23. 1976-1987 it was CV23. 1989-90 it was known as 23CSS. 1990 was the last year.

Can you find a spot were paint is chipped and see original color ?

In 1988 the "Wrap around windshield" was an option ..

It's hard to tell the original color, it looks like it could be red, but under the outdrive area is a metallic black.

It could have looked like this 1987 CV23 flake/gel style ...

Yes, that matches my interior and the paint by the outdrive.  New video is up, I got it started!
