I had an unexpected visit today. I sold my old Evinrude 115 and come to find out the new owner is none other than Howard Pipkorn, founder of Hydrostream. His buddy Dick Kojetin, a legend in his own right, came and picked it up and shared some stories with me. Made my day!

Very cool, Dick is a great guy, The windshield I had on our GT 150 came from one of his garage sales. Laurie called me at work one day and said “I’m at a garage sale, this guy has a windshield that I think will fit our boat”

I haven't even seen it yet, but Supreme Marine has a 1988 Merc 115 they will be rebuilding. I told them I wasn't in any hurry, but they took my name down and I will have first dibs. Just going off their reputation alone, I think that'll be the one. I've still got my CL alerts turned on, though, in case something pops up.

I'm sure you'll be happy with the Supreme Marine motor, plus they have test props !
Any motor off CL, FB is going to be a gamble.
