Thanks for posting. Know any of the history on the CV21? Was this boat converted to an outdrive and now being converted back to a jet? The CV21 was only ever available as a jet.

Welcome to the forum 30dog !
Jason ..
I've seen a few, one guy just picked one up in Canada and there was one out east on CL for a long time.
Both were listed on GCOTD.
A Gold one with a modern I/O would be AWESOME !

Gregg,
I think the "stern drive" under the model name doesn't necessarily mean I/O. It's almost as Glastron considered Jet's and I/O's Stern Drives. See below in 1973 where the CV19 was available in a Jet and I/O. Both are listed.
Also note both I/O and jet weights are listed under "Stern Drive Weights".
Guess only way to know for sure if it was an original I/O boat is the floor would not look to be patched back by the transom. But, as we have seen in the past, there have been some boats out there that do not meet the specs in the catalogs.

Guy from FB got this one. He hasn't post any updates or better pictures of stern/hull/I/O.
Serial number below ...
Don't know if some one did mod's or came from G/C that way.
The one in New York was a Volvo/Glastron drive.

From "Glastron Re-Float"
1971 ...

Is this the same boat by chance? I know it has to be the same boat because I’m sure it’s the only one some one cut the transom to try to install a stern drive located in Tennessee. If so what happened to the owner? I put a $1500 deposit on this boat back in 2016 and then I could never get in touch with him anymore. I know when I was dealing with him he was looking to sell his farm and move.

Welcome to the forum Chuckie ..
The ad was on CL for a few weeks or more.
I checked his stat's and he only made the one post and has not been on forum since then.
The picture you posted is very small, do you have a larger one ?
-
I don’t know why that pic is so small. It’s big on my end. Haven’t I seen your screen name over on the Classic GLASTRON Forum? What happened to that site....it’s dead.

I would say Facebook has taken its toll on that forum. We have a pretty loyal group here.

Here is another picture as well as a pic of the uship add I took out to get the boat shipped.
-
Yep .. Same name on both sites.
Pretty dead over there, only 4 or 5 people posting.
I could PM you his email address, if you want to try contacting him.
-
I sent him a PM but I can try his email also. Thank you.
