Hi everyone I'm Allan,
Bought my first Glastron last week. Been boating my whole life. My wife Pam and I live in Cottage Grove, MN. Looking at the member profiles, we bought the exact duplicate of Jason's CV-16ss, not as well kept as his, though.
Working off my phone Mostly fo Internet, so pics will be coming later.
Our boat has been sitting for years and neglected. We've already replaced the floor and carpet. Just got the carb back from being rebuilt. (I can refer anyone to this rebuilder if needed, after I hear mine run, of course!)
recovering the seat cushions this afternoon.
More later, looking forward to a great boating summer!

Welcome Allan.
Nice choice on the boat. Jason's is quite the little hot rod. Looking forward to some pics as well. Make sure you are taking some of your progress as you go, i.e Befores and afters. We like to see that stuff!

Nice CV16, can't wait to see the third one on the water. We should try to find open water for St. Patty's day next year.

Gregg,
Were you heading to the river anyway? I have to cut and re-lay a patch of sod first thing Sat. We were only going to spend 15-30 mins on the water Sat. Planning the whole day on St. Croix for Fathers Day. That was the reason for Lake Elmo.
We could meet you on the Miss just after lunch Saturday??

" Were you heading to the river anyway? "
I would like to ... more fun and safer with some one else along ... long way to paddle back ... LOL
A trip up to St.Paul and back might take about 2 hours
Sat. about 12:00 works for me, weather permitting ...
Bad weather and grad partys the last two weekends and not much runnig time on Memorial weekend ...MAN it was busy/rough !
No big deal if you would rather go to Lake Elmo ..
EDIT ...
OK ... I'm brain dead ... Sunday is Father day .
Gotta check with the war dept. about Sunday ...
Will post latter tonight.

We plan to be on and off the water in less than 1 hour on Saturday. Just a run-thru for Sunday on the St. Croix.
We'll most likely go to Lake Elmo for Saturday.
Sunday, We'll be between Stillwater and Prescott all day weather permitting, if anyone else is out, call us! 651-336-9532

Allan,
I should be out there... I posted a thread for Sunday in the "Events / Meets" board. Where do you launch? I'm headed to Hudson between 10 and 11.
