hi everybody, nice to meet you all
« on: November 11, 2010, 08:19:32 AM »
hi , i dont have a glastron, but i do have a 64 custom craft sunray and a 59 cutter jet de ville,my friend mark s got me in touch with tonka jim ,for some cleats he has for my jet de ville project, and jim asked that in turn ,i donate to brian and lisa's adoption fund,i think its a brilliant idea, and that jim deserves kudos for it.
i will be happy to do it,congratulations,to the happy couple.
my wife and i dont have any children,we have been together 30 years ,27 of them married,we tried everything to have a baby,it cost us a fortune, but back then and even now its tough .as for adoption we couldnt afford it,so now our neice and 3 nephews get really spoiled, lol.
mr barrett asked for pics ofmy projects so here they are the 1st is a restoration i did on the 64 cc sunray,(the teal and white with headlights)
and the 59 cutter jet de ville9(red and white) it will be blue and siver when its done

That is a really cool boat! I love the headlights. Kind of looks like a frog from the front! Is it suppose to have tail lights too below the fins?

Jim is a great guy! His request for you to donate to the baby fund sounds exactly like him!

hi carl,nice to meet you.
and thank you its the only 1964 sunray that i know of,there are a few earlier models out there though.
it also looks like a hammerhead shark, lol.
as for taillights it never had them, but i had thought that 59 caddilac tail lights would look cool on it,but that would take away points at shows.yes i agree jim is a very nice guy,im glad mark s ,introduced him to me.john
