Screaming outboard.
« on: January 28, 2020, 01:24:04 PM »
I've always been a Chevy V-8 guy and involved with various forms of racing, but I came across this video.  Needless to say I am impressed.  Doubt I have what it takes to run one, but wow.    https://bangshift.com/bangshiftapex/dyno-video-listen-to-a-hot-rodded-2-5l-mercury-marine-v6-scream-to-10500-rpm/

It did stop at the very end, but not sure if they turned it off or it stuck?

Didn't think they could get that kind of rpm's out of a two stroke.
In boat video's of F1 boats is insane
Think I read somewhere F1 car will turn upwards of 20,000 rpm's or more.
