My plans for the meet.
« on: August 10, 2020, 10:20:22 PM »
Just a heads up as to what my plans are for this years meet.

I'll be up Saturday for the main run.  I'll be launching at Bay Point in Red Wing,  locking through then waiting out in the channel somewhere for the group.  I'll be keeping my distance,  not coming ashore,  not tying up,  not giving rides, and in reality acting kind of weird if it were not for covid. I'll happily bs at a distance. Now as many of you know my mom has been in either a hospital or a recovery/ nursing home since the second week of March. She has made some incredible progress going from having no control of her body and on a ventilator to standing and taking some steps with a walker. She is going to be needing help in the near future as she ends her on site recovery/rehab.  I need to be available for that time. I'd appreciate you admiring the minivans beauty from distance. I will have a squirt gun...... this is going to be odd and difficult at times for me.
Thanks

You all be safe and stay healthy.

Tim I do not blame you, your mother has made quite the recovery and I am glad that she is doing well!

It has hit a little to close for comfort here in Central City. A neighbor's high school son tested positive for Covid last week and so has 8 other high school students.
